Chinese Herbal Medicine Plans

Chinese herbal medicine is a time tested and well researched treatment option for correcting imbalances and rectifying organ function. It is not just a way to manage symptoms, but can fundamentally change the dynamics of the internal landscape and get you on the road to overcoming health challenges.

There is a principle in Chinese medicine that states: 

“The same symptom in different people can have different causes.”

In other words the same symptom in two different people may be manifesting because of completely different reasons. Your insomnia may be manifesting for a completely different reason than your best friends. For this reason, one solution or herbal approach for a health complaint is never going to be right for everyone.

A comprehensive intake and observation of the tongue and pulse helps diagnose your unique pattern and reveals the appropriate treatment strategy. A Chinese herbal plan is customized to you and herbal formulas shift as your symptoms improve and your pattern changes on the way back to balance and better health.

With the right approach, most modern ailments can improve by 50% within a month and dramatically improve and stabilize within 4 months. (See illustration below)

The goal with Chinese herbal medicine is to use the herbs to achieve balance and then to taper off of them. This process generally takes 4-6 months. Herbs can be used on an as needed basis after results have been achieved in order to keep the body in balance.

Four Month Chinese Medicine Herbal Plan:

$500/month X 4 months

Includes:

  • Initial consultation, diagnosis and herbal prescription

  • All follow up consultations. In the first month these occur 1 x per week, in person, so that the tongue and pulse can be observed and any adjustments can be made in light of changes that occur as the body is healing and coming back into balance. The following three months may differ depending on the progress made. Consultations may be conducted via zoom, email or phone call if treatment is on the right track. In person follow consultations are always available if desired.

  • All custom herbal formulas. This also includes any additional formulas that may be needed if an acute condition comes up such as a common cold or flu, UTI, STI, etc…

  • Dietary recommendations and strategies as appropriate

  • Unlimited email correspondence
